Join us as we celebrate reading!

Reading opens the creativity and imagination of each child who holds a book.

Our first event hosted over 200 people and over second ove 1, 200 (talk about growth) and we are looking for an even greater turnout for May 2018! Get in on the movement...

In partnership with Atlanta School Board Member Byron Amos, District 2.

HEY! Let's Read Book Festival! will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 10am - 3pm is a half-day filled with activities and resources for children of Color. We know it is Mother's Day weekend, but this will be a must do as a family event! In addition to books available for purchase from local authors and giveaways that feature our children as the protagonists and main characters, there will be opportunities to foster a love of reading and learning!

Food vendors will be available, along with face painting, music & entertainment, storytelling and raffles! Local Authors and vendors will be present to help you select the perfect picks for your child's summer reading list during this festive time of entertainment, storytelling, and books!
