The Neal Street home of Kathryn Johnston, the woman who was killed in 2006 during a botched drug raid by police, is getting new life as the home of an organization that helps Atlanta youth. Helping Empower Youth is dedicated to assisting in the self-empowerment process of young people. HEY! Helping Empower Youth, Inc is a registered nonprofit organization. Since 2011 HEY! has provided youth in our Atlanta, GA community with leadership development, mentoring, academic support, and life skills training through STEAM curricula, and Youth Mental Health First Aid training. Our mission is to provide an opportunity to inspire, motivate, and mobilize young people to take action that changes their world!
