After-school Programming

HEY! is STEAM After-school programming is designed to engage young leaders, elementary through high school, in learning about the benefits of science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics through Sport For Good. The team uses hands on experiential learning to reinforce these ideals to increase knowledge around applied STEAM principles using bicycles and go-karts.

Some of our school partners include: Scott Elementary, Cleveland Avenue Elementary, Harper Archer Middle, South Atlanta High, Boyd Elementary.

Community Programs

Our community programs are implemented primarily on Saturdays to support and encourage positive and healthy reinforcements and out of school time. We work with community organizations, schools, churches, and concerned caregivers to cultivate programming on Saturdays. Some of our partners include: Wheat Street Baptist Church, Love Beyond Walls, Oasis Family Life Church, and Girls, Inc.

One of signature community programs is The Empowered Leadership Academy uses eight modules, fully able to be customized, in a small group setting that reinforces young leaders with the social, academic, economic and philanthropic tools need to effectuate change in their communities.

 In-School Programs

While most of our programming is provided during after school programs, we enjoy providing in-school support for teachers in classrooms. Both co-founders are AmeriCorps Alums and served as full-time in-school tutors during their terms of service.  Our programming infuses small group techniques, hands on reinforcement and tutoring to encourage students to get on and stay on track in their academic experience.
